As a Consulting Hypnotist I help ordinary, everyday people with ordinary, everyday problems. I combine behavioral strategies, mindfulness training, motivational enhancement, and individual hypnotic techniques to achieve the results you want in the most effective way.
My professional journey began 21 years ago working as a mental health specialist at a psychiatric hospital. There I was first introduced to the idea of mind-body medicine, and led weekly group sessions focused on guided meditation and relaxation.
I graduated from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute in Southern California, the first accredited college of hypnosis in the United States. I also received a Certificate in Positive Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. I am currently completing a Social Work credential from the University of Michigan School of Social Work.
Throughout my career, I have completed thousands of hours of advanced training, hundreds of hours of clinical supervision, and exceeded the "10,000 hour rule" in my professional practice.
